The Georgetown
University Hospital-Washington Hospital Center Dermatology Training
Program
uses both hospitals and their outpatient facilities as training as
sites for
future dermatologists. In addition, the Washington Hospital Center
Internal
Medicine-Dermatology Training Program also uses the dermatology
clinical
facilities of GeorgetownUniversityHospital
as part of the dermatology portion of that training program. Dr
Moshell, Chief
of Dermatology at GeorgetownUniversityHospital,
is director of both training programs. The presence of these training
programs
assures that we remain at the forefront of the rapidly changing field
of
dermatology, incorporating all the newest components of diagnosis and
treatment
into our programs as soon as they are proven, and participating in some
of the clinical
research in these areas (although no patient will ever be given
experimental
treatment unless they are informed and give full informed consent in
advance).
