Bone and Mineral Disorders and Nephrolithiasis: In collaboration with our colleagues in the Divisions of Endocrinology and Urology, we provide comprehensive evaluation and care of patients with disorders of calcium and phosphorous metabolism, vitamin D or parathyroid hormone abnormalities, metabolic bone disease (renal osteodystrophies), or kidney stones. Professor Fransisco Llach is widely published and consulted regarding disorders of mineral metabolism, hyperparathyroidism, bone disease, and vitamin D disorders. Metabolic evaluation and physiologically-guided medical prevention of kidney stone disease is done in collaboration with Litholink.
