| Job OpportunitiesCHIEF CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY The Cardiovascular Kidney Institute at Georgetown University Medical Center seeks a tenure track faculty at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level effective about January 1. The program is supported by an NIH-funded training grant. Candidates should be medically qualified but not necessarily licensed in the USA, with training and experience in clinical pharmacology to direct the teaching, consultation, and research programs in clinical pharmacology which is supported by an NIH-funded Training Grant. Research of the candidate should coordinate with areas of established strength in nephrology, hypertension, vascular biology, cardiovascular science or oncology. Wilcox, MD, PhD CLINICIAN SCIENTIST The Cardiovascular Kidney Institute at Georgetown University Medical Center seeks a physician scientist with training in nephrology, hypertension or cardiovascular science and with strong translational research interests to join an academic group supported by R01s, PPGs, and NIH training grants, etc. Research focuses on the kidney, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and damage. Wilcox, MD, PhD NURSE SPECIALIST II The incumbent will coordinate a variety of specialized clinical research activities ensuring that established protocols are implemented and followed. Monitor patient status and safety. Collects and organizes research data and prepares regulatory documents (IRB submission and informed consent preparation). Schedules in services and educates patient and families, as well as staff, about treatment and possible side effects and complications. Require BSN degree; licensed as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia and three years related experience, preferably with nephrology patients.
