Life in D.C.

Washington, D.C., is a vibrant capital city filled with American history and international influences. Each neighborhood with DC has its own charm. Spend an afternoon shopping on Georgetown’s M Street; take in a Washington National’s baseball game at the Southwest Waterfront; explore the free Smithsonian museums and national monuments at the National Mall; watch a performance at the Kennedy Center in Foggy Bottom; enjoy the nightlife of Adam’s Morgan. Washingtonians enjoy professional, collegiate, and pick-up athletics, unbeatable museums, a variety of nightlife to meet everyone’s taste, great restaurants and limitless social and cultural activities within the city and the surrounding areas.

Sports enthusiasts can root for the Nationals (baseball), Redskins (football), Capitals (hockey), DC United (soccer) and Mystics (WNBA) and Wizards (NBA), as well as the Georgetown Hoyas basketball team.

If it’s possible to run out of things to do in DC, VA, and MD – Georgetown is easily accessible to NYC, Philadelphia, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Atlantic Coast beaches and international airports.
